Hello Spring

Hello!

Holidays have been amazing so far!
I have been:
redecorating my room (I tend to do this a lot),
drinking tea,
having driving lessons,
putting succulents all around my room - I love them so much!
shopping,
seeing friends,
going on long walks and picnics,
enjoying the beautiful, sunny weather,
reading (which I never have time for during the school term)
and planning lots and lots of blog posts!

...

A few items that I have been loving recently:
Polymer beaded necklace from Lumos
Fig & melon candle from Rustic Candle Creations
Polka dot pencil case from Lantern Designs

My pamper evening essentials

Hello!

I am so happy right now!
but before I tell you why

Okay now that I have set the mood..
as you may have guessed, it is now the
HOLIDAYS!!

I love holidays so much as it's a time to just relax, have some time to yourself, set new goals, hang out with friends, spend time with family, get outdoors, go on long walks and of course blog!

Another thing I love to do is have a long candle-lit bubble bath with a cup of tea and my book! It is just so calming and puts me in such a good mood. Today I have all of my favourite things to use for my pamper evening.

Think Happy | Be Happy

Hello!

I am in an amazing mood at the moment as the sun has finally decided to come out!

These past few weeks have been really laid back as assessments are finished for the term and we have been getting barely any homework.

Only one more week of school until the September holidays!
I have literally nothing on except:
-catching up with friends,
-sleeping &
-blogging.

I have a very exciting collaboration for you all today with Liv from Kaynlivv!
We each wrote down a list of things that make us happy to share with you all!

It is easy to finish the day thinking about everything that went wrong - rather than everything that went right! Every day or few days, I try and write three (or more) good things about my day. This really helps me to focus on the positive aspects of my life and it allows me to feel happier! I definitely recommend you try this - even if you don't write it down, just make a list in your head before you fall asleep and see what happens.

It's amazing because I have discovered that no matter what, you are control of your own happiness. This doesn't mean that you can never be sad - being sad sometimes is healthy and normal, however, you ultimately have the decision of whether you want to be happy. When you wake up in the morning, you have two choices:

1. Complain about getting up and about the day ahead

2. Be excited and choose happiness

One of my favourite quotes is "change your thoughts, change your world." Although we cannot control what life throws at us, we can control how we respond. You are responsible for your own happiness - and happiness is contagious, by being happy, outgoing and positive you can make others happy too, which makes you feel even happier!

Below are 50 things that make me feel happy - if you have anything that makes you happy, feel free to add them in the comments below.

Little red dress

I have been planning lots of new and exciting posts but haven't had a chance to shoot them because of the bad weather :/

Nevertheless, I had this shoot ready from several weeks ago when my sister and I headed to the beach for sunrise. It was FREEZING but so worth it.

Getting excited for the holidays, spring and warm weather!
I love winter but I think it goes for a month too long ;)

Anyway, I hope you like the photos..
